We are looking for an experienced professional to shape and manage operations including all aspects of customer service processes and associated regulations. The operations manager will initially be focused on implementing and developing customer business processes to support existing customers and prospects, and then recruiting and developing the operations team.  If this sounds like you, apply today!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identifying any skills gaps in the organisation and undertaking a recruitment programme to support this
  • Detailed knowledge of the end to end Customer Journey and Regulation & Compliance requirements within an energy supply business
  • Implementing improvements in operations including streamlining processes
  • Proven track record of leading and managing a team to deliver the key responsibilities outlined in a growing and competitive GB B2B energy supply business.
  • Capability to setup CRM processes
  • Knowledge of billing processes and account management – with responsibility of the Management and development of the billing team
  • Motivate, and encourage teamwork between the individual departments
  • Ensuring key performance indicators are in place and performance targets are met.
  • Modelling and forecasting anticipated billing volumes
  • Ensuring accuracy of revenues throughout customer lifecycle

Experience Required:

  • Experience within a B2B Energy supplier essential
  • Good understanding of the Gas and Electric industry and regulatory requirements
  • Setting performance standards for the operation at department level and agent level
  • Knowledge of billing processes and account management
  • Strong communication & call handling experience
  • Strong analytical problem solving skills
  • Experience in managing an energy customer service centre
  • Experience managing relationships with partners and third parties
