Switching is simple
We’ll handle the entire end-to-end switching process on your behalf – even if you have a dispute or outstanding issues with your existing supplier, we’ll take care of it for you.
Step 1
When you're happy with your new business energy quotation, terms and conditions, your Account Manager will agree your new contact with you, for a period of 1 - 5 years.
Step 2
We'll send you a few simple documents to sign and return that will hand over the authority to act on your behalf to UGP.
Step 3
We'll contact your existing supplier to arrange termination of your existing contract and to begin the transfer of supply over to UGP. We'll also deal with any outstanding issues on your account if you have any.
Step 4
Once the transfer of your supply has been agreed, we'll confirm your start date with United Gas & Power and send you a welcome pack with everything you need to know about your new supplier and contract.
